I didn't plan
my career.
It called me.
Biography
I started working at sixteen.
It was a coffee shop started by four tech guys, their side hustle. I was hired as a barista. Three months later, I was a lead. Six months after that, I was the manager leading a team of fifteen.
My first boss — and forever mentor — saw something I didn't yet. I could figure things out. I didn't freeze when things were messy or unclear. If something was broken, I'd find a way to fix it.
Since then, I've worked across small businesses trying to stay afloat, government programs under pressure, nonprofits doing more with less, and Fortune 500 teams navigating scale and complexity. Different stakes. Different constraints. Same starting point.
I step in and get close to the work. I listen before I prescribe. I look for where things break down — where people are stuck, where processes slow them down, where the intention and the reality don't match.
Then I get to work. Not from the sidelines. From inside it. With the people who live it every day. And I stay with it long enough to make a dent you can actually see.
I've noticed a pattern: I'm at my best when things are hard. When the path isn't clear. When the next step isn't obvious. When everyone's a little stuck. That's the work I want.
So I'm building a consultancy around it.
